Business Analyst (ITIL)

Business Analyst | Dublin | Hybrid

Hiring on behalf of a leading professional services firm, seeking an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role in an IT transformation programme, driving improvements across IT operations and business processes using ITIL best practices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery workshops and interviews to map existing AS-IS IT operations and business processes
• Conduct gap analyses to identify process improvement and automation opportunities aligned to ITIL best practice
• Design TO-BE processes including impact analysis across technology, workflows, and business operations
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications including data mapping, process flows, and system integrations
• Support the selection and implementation of a new IT toolset including ITSM, Asset Management, and Digital Experience Monitoring solutions
• Establish documentation standards and produce comprehensive process documentation and SOPs
• Serve as the bridge between IT teams and business stakeholders on status, risks, and issues
• Support the Project Manager in delivering projects on time and to budget

Requirements

• 5+ years' Business Analysis experience supporting digital transformation programmes
• Strong understanding of ITIL principles including Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, and Request Management
• ITIL Foundation certification required; BA certification (ECBA, CCBA) highly desirable
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile/Scrum methodologies advantageous
• Microsoft Cloud certification beneficial
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
